How do you achieve long term wealth and cash flow?

What you do with your money determines your security and your freedom, and it impacts your quality of life for as long as you live.

Most entrepreneurs that I know squander their money after they make it, only to be forced into a position where they constantly have to earn more and more just to make ends meet. That’s not freedom.

In this extremely important episode, Ryan explains his Financial Freedom Formula and how you can start making small decisions that change the entire financial outlook of your life.

Great podcast Ryan! It amazes me how wise you are at such a young age! I’m excited to be part if you ASM tribe…when do we start?!

  • Corky Mitchell

This is a great Podcast! Ryan is incredibly savvy, especially for a guy half my age!

I am a disabled vet and have been looking for a way to move far above and beyond my current financial circumstance. I was able to sign up for the ASM course and cannot wait to get up to speed.

I don’t have a big budget to get my business(es) off the ground but I plan to grow expotentially. So I need to find a product that I can put about 500 dollars per month into initially. I know it is not a lot of money. It is what I have. So any suggestions are welcomed here!

I love the quadrant theory and I like the idea of layering your security. I look forward to the day my money will be working for me!

I know I have a lot to learn. If the rest of the courses are anything like this one I can only imagine good things for everyone who applies themself.

Thank you Ryan for this great information. I look forward to applying your recommendations.

    • Thanks Corky, for your kind words! If you found this helpful, would you do me a solid and leave a review on iTunes? It helps us rank higher in the store. 🙂 Thanks for letting me know that you love this!

        Hey Ryan,

You did not suggest anything to Corky. Can you please suggest what he can
        do with $500?

Hey Ryan, love these podcasts, very inspirational!
I’m looking for the resources section you mentioned on the podcast, for the “wealth triad” and “financial freedom formula”, where do I find those?

    • Hey, Josh. We’re working on a new design right now, and it’ll all be out soon. 🙂

      • Joshua Batölein

I noticed the “Free Resources” section on your site now, but all that’s there is “Comming soon” (misspelled). Do you know when those “wealth triad” and “financial freedom formula” resources might come available that were mentioned on this podcast?

  • EL

Great podcast and a must listen if you are serious about being financially free. Looking forward to more ideas on how to build cash flow.

Hey ryan don’t know much about trading stocks i want to know what do you use like Etrade, scotttrade etc?

  • Steve

No idea how I found your site, but have enjoyed clicking around a little bit. You get it, its obvious in how you communicate. I appreciate your clarity of thought and logic chain. Good stuff. Wanted to share, if you haven’t already considered Realty Income (ticker O) REIT, you might check it out. They specialize in increasing dividends and have high quality long term leases on very credit worthy tenants. Strong way to compound dividends over long haul.

Also, in your portfolio of dividend paying stocks, you might further target capitally efficient companies (not just div stocks). Those companies that can produce excess cash and return to shareholders without having to increase cap ex builds a very strong advantage over “regular div” companies.

    my best,

    • Steve,

Great stuff. Thank you for this. I looked into O, and it has a healthy dividend with a history of increasing. However, it’s pretty conservative in its dividend hike, only increasing by about 25% in the last five years, from .14 to .18. At that pace, you’d only have about a 7.5% return per year after ten years. Not bad, but no robust. Still better than most companies.

When you speak of capitally efficient companies, do you refer to companies like Apple, who increase in value because of their strong cash position?

  • Hi ryan ! I am excited to learn more from you and want to make a change in my life. I feel very inspired by you and they you think about life. It’s refreshing to hear so much positive words coming from you and I wanted to know how do I get started?

  • Sam

Hi there Ryan, really amazing podcast, thank you so much for sharing much appreciated.

The thing I’m not getting about how you do quadrant 2 real estate investing is even though I understand you have people manage all your places isn’t it a full time or at least part time business just finding places, getting financing, negotiating, etc etc?

I’m in a situation where I spend most of my time on my online business (Quadrant 1) but currently invest profits into Quadrant 3 mostly.

I’ve been wanting to do real estate for a while but always think it’ll be very time consuming and therefore take away from my online business.

If you’re able to elaborate how you can invest in real estate in a passive way (not REIT) I’d love to hear more.

Thanks again for all your knowledge sharing!

    • Hey Sam, that’s a great question! I have people manage almost everything for me. I have:
      – a realtor I trust to make offers according to my numbers
      – a management company that fixes up and rents my properties
      – an assistant who pays all taxes, fees, etc

I would NOT be able to invest if it wasn’t for the people that help manage the details. Otherwise, I’d put all my money into dividends and REITs.

hi ryan what reits are you using now and what business can i quickly get into with low start up cost to bring in some residual income?

Hi Ryan, just to let you know that there seems to be a technical glitch with this podcast. It won’t download or stream from this page, nor will it stream from iTunes or Stitcher. Would love you to get it fixed as this seems like a good one. Enjoying your podcasts overall; keep up the good work!

  • Roberto Zanon

Very valuable stuff man. I really liked the podcast. Solid points and very clear defined plan.

    Thanks 🙂

  • Julia

Hi Ryan, thank you so much for sharing these strategies. What do you do to automate the stock buying process with regards to the 4% dividend-stock price ratio rule?
